The Play People was set up by Faye who is a qualified primary school teacher and performer. She is experienced at teaching children aged 3-11 years. She combined her enthusiasm for working with children and performing to create The Play People.

Faye is joined by a fantastic team of enthusiastic entertainers who have experience of performing and working with children; this means all of our parties have the ideal balance of fun and excitement while also maintaining control of the party. The Play People entertainers are trained to ensure they are able to entertain and engage children of all ages.

We have a range of party packages to suit all party types, budgets and children’s ages and abilities to find out more please take a look at our party packages.

We also provide entertainers to perform in schools to help bring children’s learning to life and can work with teachers to create bespoke learning experiences for their schools and classes.

As well as parties our entertainers can also be hired to perform at events. Over the years our characters and entertainers have attended and hosted many events for both corporate companies and for private hires. Whether your event is big or small we can liaise with you to provide something extra special for your event!

In 2018 The Play People created ‘Play People Productions’ whose ethos is to create family based shows and entertainment ideal for the whole family to enjoy! Check out our original shows and where we are next performing!
